Meena Bond

Meena Bond

Meena is a former the Mayor of the Borough and is currently Cabinet Member for Arts, Culture and Sport. A borough resident since 1971, Meena has been a member of the Council since 2010 for Kew ward. She was also the Deputy Mayor in 2011/12. She represents Richmond on the Richmond Civic Trust, the Richmond Upon Thames Council for Voluntary Service Board and The Octagon Trust. Meena was educated at Putney Park School and Richmond College.  She then attended the London College of Journalism (formerly known as the London College of Printing). Meena's hobbies include photography (where she specialises in birds, flowers and insects!), sailing, rowing, walking, music concerts, festivals, art and drama.

David Linnette

David Linnette

David is currently Mayor of Richmond. He has lived in Kew for over 20 years and was first elected councillor in 2010, having been an active local campaigner. Before being appointed Mayor, he sat on a wide array of committees, including the Planning and Audit committees. He is a Richmond representative on the Heathrow Airport Consultative Committee and the Strategic Aviation Special Interest Group, and also the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Greater London. During the day he is a professional graphic designer, running an online design business, working mostly for the leisure and travel industry.

Kew Councillors run 'Meet Your Councillor' sessions on the 1st Wednesday of the month at Torelli's Cafe in Kew Village, 5-7pm.

Monica sits on the Regulatory Committee and the Scrutiny Committee. She represents Richmond on the Countess of Derby Charity.
